The research paper must combine five central components:
1) Introduction/significance of the case (half page)
2) Facts (2 pages)
3) Issue/question (half page)
4) Decision (half page)
5) Reasoning on the decision. Reasoning should be supported by legal rules of public international law applicable to the case (3 Pages)
The research paper should be no more than 7 pages in length (excluding endnotes or bibliography pages), typed, and single space. The case study should be written as integrated paper with footnotes and bibliography, utilizing appropriate protocol as outlined in the Turabian publication style (adoption of Chicago Manual of Style).
