1) According to the texts you have read and viewed in this module, and perhaps informed by your own experiences, what is the relationship between Poverty, Education, and Freedom?
2) At its root, education appears to be ontological rather than epistemological. That is, it is less about what we know, and more about who we are and who we are becoming. Based upon the texts for this module, how does liberal education (the kind Shorris advocates) change us as human beings? What kind of person does a liberal education make? What might distinguish someone who has received this kind of education (formally or informally) from someone who has not?
